Some Boardroom Changes at the Top

Kasper Rorsted, Henkel’s chief executive, left the consumer goods conglomerate in January after eight years to become CEO of Adidas. In May, Henkel appointed Belgian-born Hans Van Bylen as its new chief executive. Another DAX corporation sought a new chief executive: Munich Re, which will see retiring CEO Nikolaus von Bomhard leave after 12 years at the reinsurer in April 2017 to be replaced by Joachim Wenning, a Munich Re board member.
