Suspected Tear Gas Attack in Frankfurt
Several people have been injured in suspected tear gas attack at a check-in counter at Frankfurt Airport, according to media reports.
So far, six people are reportedly being treated for breathing problems and eye injuries.
The attack took place at 11 am CET at the airport’s Terminal 1. Police and firefighters are currently at the scene.
Officials described the gas as an “irritant.” Police have since reopened the counter, but continue to investigate what happened.
