Germany's official Reunification Day celebration is in Mainz this year. And East German Ampelmänner, or traffic light men, are currently letting people know there it's safe to cross the street while Mainzelmenschen – little Mainz people – the mascot of public broadcaster ZDF, which is based in the western city, have replaced the traditional symbol for 'Don't Walk' in honor of Tuesday's holiday.
